It strikes some of us strange that people would rather have an abortion over offering an adoption and would rather have an abortion than face the disappointment and anger that their parents may experience if they were to tell them that they are pregnant. Yet, at Seneca we hear it all of the time.

Seneca clients are at higher risks for postpartum depression. A lack of support, bills, other kids, continual health issues for themselves, and the new baby put an enormous amount of stress on the new mom. Any mom has a tough time the first few months, but with an added plethora of stresses, one can easily break.
