First Fruit Friday - Testimony

And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

1 John 5:11

Truthfully, most of the staff and volunteers here at Seneca have our own testimonies as to what brought us to this ministry.  Whatever the reason, we know that we are here to serve our Lord and then to serve the community. Sometimes, especially since Roe vs. Wade was overturned, achieving our mission has become more  difficult. With the ever changing landscape of the abortion debate, we at Seneca are having to adapt our services.

We are grateful and pleased to report that more women are utilizing our spiritual direction and counseling programs.  The Thrive program with our volunteer Doula and lactation consultant is well - thriving! Our miscarriage and abortion healing ministries continue to serve those who are in need of someone to talk to.  However, with this good news and increased activity, our volunteers are being pushed to their maximum.  Please consider using your talent and gifts by joining in our works.

Our case management staff has grown and will begin to streamline some of the client processes. There are still many in need. Sometimes it is good to hear from previous clients. It helps us know that what we are doing here at Seneca matters. Here are some of the recent testimonies:

"I just wanted to say thank you to you and the whole team over there so much for being an ear for me and helping to point me in the right direction. I am still stressed out with things but I have so much motivation...more so than I think I've ever had. I'll finish the CNA program by mid-December and if I am able to, I'm going to do the Phlebotomy program next year." MW

"I really enjoyed the help and the coaching." TB

"Thank you so much for the impact you had in my life. Thank you for being the fire under my butt since I met you. You are truly a guardian angel!!!!"

"You have all been angels to me and my kids."

"I felt no judgment here - only love!"
