At Seneca, we have definitely seen the impact of offering women an alternative, life-affirming option to abortion in the midst of their crisis. We are also grateful that there are so many other life affirming centers around the country that are working to help women see that they do not have to settle for the seemingly “easy” option of abortion.

Since it is our mission to “make abortion unthinkable through prayer, intervention, and prevention,” we spend a lot of time praying with mamas. Sometimes, it is for their new baby's birth, maybe an overwhelming situation, or perhaps a renewed relationship with Christ. Many of our clients are Christian, but their relationship with Christ has been put on the backburner or they’ve never developed a persistent discipline of prayer, worship, reading the bible, etc. Some have experienced church hurt and will no longer attend worship services.
