First Fruits Friday - Graduation
Our goal in Seneca's Case Management program is to walk with clients to the point that they no longer need us. We have a three tiered program with specific goals: to make sure our moms are safe, healthy and self-sustaining. Here are some words from the clients who have graduated from our program:
"I found out about Seneca when I googled ‘pregnancy help’. Seneca helped me with supplies and helped me become prepared. I have recommended this place to my cousin and to others. I am now no longer in a place where I need your resources, but I appreciate what you do."
"I just wanted to reach out and tell you how things have been going lately. It has been very chaotic, but my relationship with my son has been wonderful and we are working through the almost terrible twos. I have a steady income from working at my church and I absolutely love what I do, and I have become such a flower in my church it's been wonderful. They do a lot for the community, and my heart is just overflowing. I would love to help you guys in any way I can even after I graduate from Case Management. I cannot stress enough how much you guys have done for me, and I appreciate everyone of you so much."
Seneca, Choices for Life walks with a mom throughout her pregnancy and up until the child is two years of age. Even after the monthly sessions end, our Seneca Sisters support group is available to give hope to mothers who are looking for community. God uses this sisterhood to take away their fear and anxiety through sharing and support. He calls them beyond to heal, and then afterwards to use their stories to help their sisters.
Recently, the group assisted a new mom in calming her fears of placing her child in a daycare. The Sisters also volunteered to help her once the baby arrives. This is what graduation means - paying it forward.
Philippians 2:4, "Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.”
