First Fruits Friday - Bittersweet Goodbye
As I sit down to write these words, my heart is filled with a mix of emotions - sadness, gratitude, and excitement. This past Friday marked the end of my journey as a Case Manager at Seneca, Choices for Life, an organization that has become a second family to me.
As a Case Manager, I have had the privilege of walking alongside brave women and families as they navigated some of the most challenging moments of their lives. I've had the honor of being a listening ear, a guiding light, and a source of comfort in times of crisis. It's been an incredible privilege to be a part of this ministry, and I will always treasure the memories and lessons learned during my time here.
I've seen women find strength they never knew they had, overcome fears and doubts, and discover a sense of purpose and direction. I've seen families grow and thrive, and children born into loving homes. And through it all, I've seen God work in mighty ways, often in the most unexpected ways.
As I transition to a new role as an educator, I am reminded of Proverbs 16:9 - "The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps." My plans may have changed, but God's plan has always been for me to be used for His glory. My passion for serving others remains unwavering and I am excited to see how God will use me in this new role.
To my colleagues and friends at Seneca: Thank you for your love, support, and encouragement. You have been a blessing to me in countless ways, and I will carry you all in my heart wherever I go. To our clients and families whose lives have been touched by our ministry: Thank you for allowing us to walk alongside you during some of your darkest moments. Your stories will stay with me forever.
And to God, who has used me here in ways beyond what I could have ever imagined: Thank you for entrusting me with this journey. May the story of my whole life be a testament to Your power and faithfulness.
I know that no matter what lies ahead, God's plans for me are good and His timing is perfect. And so, with gratitude and anticipation, I say goodbye to my time as a Case Manager at Seneca and look forward to seeing how God will use me in my new role.
