First Fruits Friday - We Love Our Volunteers

Every 3 months, Seneca hosts a volunteer appreciation event where we thank our volunteers for all of their incredible work. These gatherings are the opportunity for them to know each other better and to pray and encourage each other. Every volunteer at Seneca plays such a crucial role and we need all of them to do God’s work here. Without them it would not be possible!

On this occasion, I had the opportunity to share with them some of our clients’ stories. As a Case Manager I am part of our clients’ journeys and witness first-hand the power of their prayer and actions in these mothers’ lives. We are all part of these stories! I know God sees our work and He is glorified by it.

The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 2:12:

“That you would walk worthy of God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory”.

The work here at Seneca transcends time, space, and generations. It is very important for all of them to know how impactful their work to this cause is. Every time we stand up for the beauty and dignity of life wonderful things happen! God takes all of our work and prayers and applies them to a woman who lives hundreds of miles away, or transfers them to a mom who is in need next month, or takes care of a mom with a crisis today. At Seneca we have seen God saving babies, mothers and grandparents! The economy of grace is an amazing thing and totally beyond our comprehension.

The one thing we do know is that God works through each of us. We just need to surrender and ask Him to use us every day as instruments of His work on this earth. Thank you to all of our volunteers and supporters. Thank you for making all of these stories possible.

We love you all!
