First Fruits Friday - Seneca's Hispanic Moms
In the last two months, Seneca had added to their Case Management program nine new Hispanic moms! These brave mothers are from Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras. They came to our great nation fleeing violence and poverty and were seeking a new beginning, safety, and opportunities for their families.
When these families arrived in our country they were starting their whole lives from scratch, they didn't have anything. They were so vulnerable and were so very scared because they couldn't speak the language. Getting pregnant in a time like this is definitely challenging.
Seneca offers its help in both languages, English and Spanish, and these nine moms have found a helping hand in us. We are the answer to their prayers! One mom told me she prayed that God send her an Angel because she has never felt as scared and vulnerable before - and Seneca was that Angel!
We love our Hispanic moms. We love to serve the most vulnerable in our community. We are all one in God’s eyes and these babies are so precious!
May God allow us to be His hands and feet in this world and help us give aid, comfort, and love to anyone that needs our help in our community!
