First Fruits Friday: Life is Sweet

Sometimes, life happens to us. An unplanned pregnancy catapults one into an abyss of turmoil. That was the case with this precious Mama. 

In May of 2019, a young woman came to Seneca with her church youth leader. After hours of discussion, the client left choosing life. She then met with a person who did not want her to have the baby. This person took her to the abortion clinic next door to Seneca. By the grace of God, the client was unable to secure an abortion appointment until a month out. She decided after she left the abortion facility that she was going to keep the baby, no matter what.  Prayer works.  The light of Christ is most prevalent in the darkness. 

The client recently had a chance to catch up with our Case Manager and shared:

“Sweet Skai! We are good! Skai is so sweet, we love her so much!” 

What most people do not know is that one in four women have abortions, and 70% self-identify as being Christians. We, as the church, are challenged to help these individuals with choosing life. Won't you help us by giving an hour a week to pray for 40 Days for Life?
