A few months ago, a pastor visited Seneca to find out more about our ministry. At the end of our conversation, with complete honesty he said, “I just don’t know how to get the conversation going…” His sentiments are true for many of us. As Christians, we are taught abortion is wrong but we rarely have the tools to guide us in a fruitful discussion on the issue

Hope in the Darkness is a six-week study that serves as a resource for small groups to discuss abortion in a way that promotes a culture of healing, mercy, and hope. This study calls upon our role as disciples to serve a hurting community.   A role, as the Gospel of John reminds us, that means He must increase and we must decrease.
