First Fruits Friday - It's Valentine's Month

It feels like we were just celebrating the new year and now here it comes - Valentine's month! This is a great time to reflect on the many avenues for love that the Lord offers us every day. At Seneca, we witness the true depths of love every day, from little acts of kindness to personal sacrifices in the form of time and financial gifts. We all link arms in this mission of love: "To make abortion unthinkable through prayer, intervention, and prevention." 

“We love because He first loved us” (1 John 4:19).

What a miraculous reality that we can know true and lasting love because HIS love is deeply imprinted in our own hearts. It’s with this incredible true love that we outstretch our arms offering hope, help, and healing to moms in crisis who are facing unplanned pregnancies, and who are thirsting for that same love. 

It is a great privilege to meet these moms in moments of crisis and great need and to extend our hands as a source of support on their journey. Some of the moms we meet have never experienced true love. They don't know Our Father's everlasting love. 

When a mom in crisis is approached with love, she feels seen; she feels someone cares enough to be outside at the sidewalk waiting for her in hopes of offering a word of hope and love. On the sidewalk, we show love - the love of God!  We are truly blessed to be known, and chosen, for the very Love that created us!
